The wiki can contain both official documentation for DikuMUD, and other less official information and contributions from the community.

Official documentation will be merged into the DikuMUD project.

To help this work smoothly you should:

  • Include "Manual:" at the beginning of the page title. This is a separate wiki "namespace" which identifies official documentation.
  • Put other information and pages in the main namespace (that is without Manual: in the name).
  • Try to keep a logical structure to pages in the Manual:, which has subpages enabled (Manual:Page/Subpage/Subsubpage).
  • Only save completed edits in the Manual: pages, with comments and discussion kept to the talk pages or main namespace. This prevents informal remarks being incorporated into the project.
