Filching

Usage:

 filch <item> from <target>

The filch skill enables you to take worn jewelry from another living being. With this skill you can only filch jewelry items that are worn by the target. When you try to filch your filch skill and dexterity and roll is compared to the targets filch and brain. If your filch is successful you still risk that any bystanders see your crime even if the target didn't.

If you're good at filching, this is a fast way to get good jewelry, and also a way to spend some quality time in jail. Not to mention, a horde of blood thirsty enemies.

Filching is considered a crime, and few MUD'ers will help a thief in trouble. Some will not help a thief at all.
