Combat Melee & Spells

The dynamics have changed since DIKU II for the purposes of being more responsive to your actual level/skill/abilities. The effect is that mobs will become harder to kill until calibrated.


Your dexterity defense is lowered by the armor you're wearing and will show in the status command. Skills have been added to the game in order to train in equipment types: soft leather, hard leather, chain, and plate. The effect is that combined with your strength - your effective dexterity is lowered.
